Busy Monday for Wagontown

Monday morning started with an accident in the 500 block of Country Club Rd at 09:28 hours. Rescue 35 and Ambulance 144 made the response to find a 2 vehicle accident with everyone out of their vehicles. Crews stood by until the scene was cleared and returned once the accident was cleared.

Then at 18:24 Hours just prior to the monthly company meeting the company was alerted to an accident in the 1300 Block of Airport Rd. Ambulance 144, Chief and Rescue 35 made the quick response. While enroute was advised of possible entrapment in the vehicle, onscene crews found the driver out and talking with EMS. Crews stood by and then where released while the vehicle was cleared from the scene. The company returned for the company meeting at 19:10 hours.

Then at 20:46 hours as the Relief meeting was winding down the company was alerted to assist Westwood Fire in the 100 block of S. Mt. Airy Road in Valley Twp. Engine 35, Tanker and Rescue 35 made the response. Crews arrived to find an outside fire alongside a garage and was quickly extinguished. Crews assisted with extinguishment and overhaul of the area and then assisted with wrapping up. Crews cleared the scene about 21:15 hours.

Then as crews were clearing the Engine was alerted to assist EMS in the 100 Block of Hurley Rd. Engine 35 and Engine 31-2 made the response and assisted EMS and all units cleared after getting the patient loaded for transport.
