Annual Pig Roast and West Brandywine Car shows a huge success

Yesterday the company held it's annual pig roast, each year this is done in conjunction with the West Brandywine Township's Father's day car sale. This year like last was a huge success with us selling out of pulled pork again. With the larger than last year turnout at the car show and the amount of people stopping by the firehouse this was a banner year for us.

late Friday and all through the night, the pig was cooking at the firehouse with members standing guard and tending the fire in the cooker, then early Saturday morning the pig was cut, chopped and prepped for sandwiches or dinners and even quarts for sale.

The ladies of the fire company were a very huge asset in keeping this event going while we handled the fire emergencies, they also prepared the items for the meals and assembled them in clockwork like precision.

We cannot thank everyone enough for their support, the donations from Herr's chips, the members who staffed the event and everyone who stopped by or purchased from our event.
