On Wednesday evening, the company along with members of the Brandywine Creek Forest Fire Crew and the West Caln PD attended training on the Stop the Bleed program. The stop the bleed program stems from preventing people dying from blood loss from some sort of traumatic injury. As you know our line of work is quite dangerous and this training is critical for any type of situation where this type of injury could occur.

Stop the Bleed covers everything from Tourniquets to packing the wound to stop the bleeding which provides the victim a greater chance at survival. We cannot thank Leo Scaccia from Medic 93 and Chester County DES EMS division along with those who helped instruct the class, as this as always was a top notch program and our members took away valuable training.

We are continually striving to provide the best possible service through well trained Firefighters, Fire Police and Members.
