Accident on Hibernia Road

On Wednesday night at 19:44 as training was underway, the company was dispatched along with Ambulance 144 and Medic 93 to the 200 Block of Hibernia Rd for the accident involving fire.

As the units quickly responded after dispatch, the 911 center advised that one vehicle was on fire and the driver was reported ejected from the vehicle and another vehicle was involved. Deputy 35 (Reber) arrived onscene confirming on vehicle on fire with the occupant out and another vehicle with occupants out also. EMS from Westwood and Medic 93 handled the patient care while the crews from the Engine and Rescue Supported by Tanker 35 handled the vehicle fire and hazards.

Crews stood by until the scene was cleared around 21:00 hours and the roadway was opened.
