Today we finished a week long fire prevention detail, with a few that are still scheduled next week due the rain yesterday. Crews attended the following schools this past week and provided fire safety training for the students and staff.

Every year the members look forward to going back to school in October for our annual fire safety program at Kings Highway. This year was no exception, upon arriving at 09:30 the schedule of assemblies was given to us and from there we visited with every class in the school from Kindergarten through 5th grade.

This year was the same as last year providing our information in assemblies, working with the teachers and staff two times were set for the morning which was K through 2nd grade and the afternoon 3rd through 5th grade. All the assemblies were great and the kids seemed to enjoy them which we followed with a tour of the apparatus on the playground and we gave them a little something to take home at the end

Schools attended:

Sandy Hill Preschool
Kings Highway Elementary School.

Fire Safety program for:

Wagontown Country Daycare

Wagontown Open House

Still Scheduled is a trip to Kathy Hawk Daycare and the Wagontown Country Daycare next week.

Wagontown would like to thank our schools for allowing us to present the life saving message of fire prevention to the children and staff.
