Accident with Entrapment in the village

On Thursday afternoon at 16:43 hours the company along with Ambulance 144 were dispatched to the intersection of W. Kings Highway and Hatfield Rd. for an accident. Ambulance 144 made the response and arrived a minute later advising their was entrapment and the assignment was upgraded. 7 minutes later the Rescue arrived.

Crews began the process of stabilizing the vehicle and then working to remove the two drivers side doors one of of the three vehicles involved in the accident. Crews made quick work of the extrication which was completed in seven minutes of the Rescue's arrival and the patient was removed and being transported to a local trauma center for treatment. The other two drivers refused medical treatment and were talking with West Caln PD in regards to the incident.

Crews then of the Rescue and Tac that had arrived onscene began hazard control, spill control and stood by until the vehicles were removed by Flings Towing. Once the scene was clear all units cleared at 6 PM.

Great work by everyone onscene providing a quick and efficient rescue operation.
