On Thursday night members attended the West Brandywine Township meeting to recognize the retirement of Chief Walt Werner, Chief Werner served West Brandywine PD for 32 years and retired as Chief of the Department. Chief Werner started his service as a patrolman and worked his way through the ranks of the department. Chief Werner was a supporter and friend to Wagontown and we wish him well and good health in his retirement.

While members attended the meeting, other members were out assisting a resident with smoke alarms and checking their extinguishers. Crews checked existing and replaced old smoke detectors with ones we had donated by 6 Save a Life program.
