Assist to Coatesville on a working fire in the East End

On Tuesday afternoon March 20th at 15:52hrs the City of Coatesville Fire Department along with Engines from Thorndale, Modena, Wagontown and VA Hospital of Coatesville and a Ladder from Keystone Valley Fire Dept were dispatched to 1200 Block of E Lincoln Hwy for the house fire.

Initial reports were of a fire on the rear porch on fire. Ladder 41-2 from Coatesville arrived first and reported smoke showing from a 2 1/2 story half of a duplex on the "C" side. Engine 35 made the response and was assigned various tasks on the fire grounds.

The fire was placed under control within 30 minutes, and the companies were released a time later after assisting with wrapping up at the scene.
