Assist to Sadsburyville on a house fire

Today at 13:54 the company was dispatched to assist 31 (Sadsburyville) on a working house fire in the 500 Block of Lissie Lane in Sadsbury Twp. The Rescue made the response as part of the RIT assignment. Engine 31-1, Engine 31-2 and Engine 44-5 arrived and crews went to work on the kitchen fire that was extending beyond the kitchen. Chief 44 (McWilliams) arrived and established the command advising a working fire.

Crew from Engine 31-1 and a member of 35 stretched in and got a good knock on the fire, Rescue 35 arrived followed by 8 units who were then put to work opening up and venting the house. The working fire brought the medic and Rescue 27 (Cochranville) to the scene.

Crews worked together and had the fire under control in about a 1/2 hour and then the FM's from the county investigated. Crews cleared the scene about 2 hours later.
