With the upcoming winter storm approaching Wagontown Fire Company would like to pass on some helpful tips. These might help you weather the storm a little better and know that we are here to respond to any incident that may occur. Here are some helpful ideas to deal with the storm. • Keep posted on weather conditions. Listen to local media sources We again remind you, if your electric power goes out, do not call 9-1-1. Call your utility company – PECO 1-800-841-4141; PPL 1-800-342-5775; Met-Ed 1-888-544-4877 Also the West Brandywine Township will have a warming center open should power outages become a problem, these sites are as follows: 1) West Brandywine Township Building
Unfortunately both of these site are NOT pet friendly. And to emphasize, these sites are not designed for over night accommodations. Just as a means to get out of the weather, charge a device if needed and make arrangements. |
