On Sunday members traveled to the Public Training Center in South Coatesville for a day of training. This training was made available to the members of the Chester County Fire Task Force. The class was on Radiological Emergencies and was sponsored by Chester County Emergency Management. The Course was Modular Emergency Response Radiological Transportation Training through TEPP.

The course covered the basics on Radiological response along with meters, Emergency Medical Procedures and Decon and transportation. The class was good and finished with practical stations in which members identified packages, transport methods as well as how to monitor someone for contamination.

Thank you to the Task Force and the County for this training.
