Tonight's training began with Part II of Special Vehicle Rescue course that we are hosting; Chief Rohrer who instructs for Bucks County was down to complete the 8 hour classroom portion of the Department of Health Special Vehicle Rescue program. This program has been in progress since last week and will finish on Sunday with our practical session involving a number of neighboring departments.

At the end of the program, the company recognized Firefighter Nick Sheplock who will be leaving us as he has enlisted in the United States Coast Guard and leaves later this week for his initial training and assignment. We at Wagontown have watched nick grow as he became an interior firefighter and Nationally Certified, who is now going to protect our Nation.

In appreciation for Nick and his efforts and as a token we presented Nick with his own Job shirt and a cake to celebrate his departure and so he remembers us as he serves our country.

Thank you Nick for your service and know your gear will be there when you come home.
