On Monday morning around 07:15 hours the company was dispatched to assist the East Brandywine Fire Company on an accident on Rt. 82 just south of the Hibernia Rd. intersection. East Brandywine had been out on a two vehicle accident in which one vehicle was a work type truck and had a full tank of diesel fuel on board.

During the accident the tank had been compromised and was leaking all of the fuel, Glen Moore and Wagontown were then dispatched to assist with more oil dry and manpower to assist with the spill.

Crews contained the leak and then waited for the vehicles to be removed and then assisted with the cleanup of the accident scene. Once completed the company was released by Deputy 49 at a little after 9 AM.

Good job by all involved kept the spill contained to the roadway.
