On Friday Gerry Lindenlauf was kind enough to lend us his Pig Cooker, which allowed our fill in Chef the ability to cook our pig for the pig roast; at about 6 pm the pig was loaded into the cooker to cook all night to be ready for our Pig Roast on Saturday. Paul obtained the pig and at a huge savings to the fire company he stayed and cooked and sliced the pork for our sale.

Paul and a few members stayed overnight keeping an eye on the pig as it cooked, then early on Saturday morning the crew again showed up to help prepare the pulled pork for the sale.

Meanwhile the rest of the crew loaded up and headed to West Brandywine Township Building for their annual Father's Day car show.

While at the car show we were able to sell our pulled pork sandwiches and sides along with drinks. We also were on hand to hand out fire prevention material, smoke detectors to those who needed them and talk with the public.

Members enjoyed the music by the live bands and enjoyed the beautiful day while at the car show. Back at the firehouse, the ladies were selling the pork. At around 7pm after enjoying the music and cleaning up the crews left West Brandywine and headed home

Wagontown would like to thank Gerry Lindenlauf, Paul Brinkley, Hershey's market, Hillside foods and the firehouse crew that made the meals along with West Brandywine Township for assisting us or donating to make this event another great year.
