Chicken Coop fire in the 3503 Box

Today at 13:22 Hours the Company along with mutual aid was dispatched to the 300 Block of Ash Rd for the reported out building fire. Battalion 44 (Sly) arrived minutes later and confirmed a small chicken coop well involved. Engines 31-1 and 31-2 arrived first stretching a hand line and making the initial attack.

Engine 35 arrived next and pulled in the driveway behind the 31 units and the crew assisted with fire attack and overhaul. The incident was quickly scaled back to the initial units and Engine 44-5 for a water supply if needed.

Crews extinguished the fire and quickly put the fire under control at 13;34 hours and all companies cleared the scene at 14:02 hours.
