Reported smoke in the house

On Sunday at 16:01 hours the company was dispatched to the 1000 Block of W. Kings Hwy for a reported house fire with reports of smoke in the kitchen. Deputy 35 (Reber) responded and was advised by Chester County Fire Radio that the caller had smoke in the kitchen.

Crews arrived and Deputy 35 assumed the West Kings Highway Command and investigated the light haze in the house, crews were able to determine the cause from the fire place and the incident was scaled back to 35, 31, 33 and Ladder 41 while ventilation took place.

Once the house was cleared crews turned the incident back over to the homeowner and companies cleared at 16:30 Hours.
