Early Sunday morning at 02:18 hours the company along with Ambulance 144 and Medic 93 were dispatched to the 300 Block of N. Sandy Hill Rd for the accident involving fire. Ambulance 144 was the first to arrive and find one vehicle into a tree on fire with all occupants out of the car.

Rescue 35 arrived next and the crew stretched a line attacking the fire, while EMS attended to the patients. Chief 35 arrived and assumed Sandy Hill Command. Engine 35 arrived and set up a supply to Rescue 35 with the manpower assisting with the suppression and EMS.

During the incident the fuel line ruptured which created a new hazard of a flowing spill fire, crews employed the use of a Foam Line to control the fuel fed fire which had developed.

Once the fire was knocked down, crews mopped up the car and surrounding area, patients were transported to a local trauma center and PSP Embreeville completed the investigation.

Units returned around 04:20 to return all the equipment to the ready status; we would also like to extend our thoughts to those involved in the incident tonight.
