Today Rescue 35 returned from 10-8 Emergency Vehicle Services after receiving its LED Emergency lighting upgrade. Early this year the company was awarded a grant through the Office of the State Fire Commissioner for this project.

On Monday the Rescue was delivered to them and after two days of great work the Rescue returned with new lights. The newest feature is the light bar on the roof of the unit has the ability to go all white, which will provide increased scene lighting on arrival.

Upgrades included new LED lights and siren on the Squad, New LED rear scene lighting on the Engine and all new emergency lighting on the Rescue to lessen the voltage draw on the vehicles electrical system. Also provides for better emergency response and scene lighting.

Wagontown would like to again thank the Fire Commissioners Office for the grant and Nate, Dan and crew from 10-8 EVS for their fine work on all of the apparatus.
