Safety is our Priority, This time Ladder Testing

On Saturday, The Wagontown Fire Company worked with the Downingtown Fire Department who set up a company to come in and certify their ground ladders. According to NFPA we are required to certify that our ladders we use on the fire grounds are safe.

This is exactly what we did, Piece by Piece. The Engine went first and the company KLR was at Downingtown and they tested all of the ground ladders on the engine. Next up was the Rescue and all of the ground ladders were again tested and all passed the inspection and testing process. And then the rest we tested.

We at Wagontown take Safety seriously making sure all of our equipment is safe and ready to use and this is more process we take to ensure all of our members go home at the end of an incident.

Wagontown would like to thank Chief Law for allowing us to piggy back on Downingtown's testing and assisting us in making sure our equipment is up to standards.
