On Saturday while a crew was in Coatesville for the Grand Prix, the Company was dispatched at 13:13 Hours to assist Westwood on a Dirt Bike accident in the 100 Block of Waverly Blvd. 44 units had been dispatched and from one of their member’s onscene the patients would need transport out of where they were located by ATV.

ATV 35 made the response with Tac 35 towing it, Units arrived and worked with Westwood and Sadsburyville units to assist EMS with packaging and transport out to the waiting 44 & 144 units for transport to the local hospitals.

Crews loaded the patients and then made their way out to the waiting ambulances with the fire units clearing the scene at 13:50 hours with all patients being transported.

This was the first actual patient transport completed with the new ATV since going in service and worked as designed.

Special thanks to Firefighter Ranck for the Pictures.
