Assist to Westwood on reported house explosion

At 11:56 hours the company was alerted to assist the Westwood Fire Company in the 1100 Block of Valley Station Rd. for the reported house fire, while enroute to the scene companies were updated of a reported house explosion.

Deputy 44 (Scott) arrived and found a house that was leveled and unknown if occupied, crews went to work searching the remains and surrounding areas for any victims and reported no fire. Once crews determined that there were no injuries involved and the utilities were secured crews then went into a standby mode.

Once all was secure, 44 units scaled the incident back and assist companies were released. The incident was under investigation by many agencies when the company cleared the scene at 13:00 Hours.
