| Saturday night after all the units returned from events, members loaded up the TAC, Brush 1 and the Command unit to head over to the Brandywine Hospital to assist the Thorndale Fire Company with the fireworks display at the Strawberry Festival. Chief Cordisco had requested some assistance with covering the fireworks display. Units arrived at the lower lot off of Fisherville Road, where they proceeded to the top of the field to stand by for the fireworks show. While waiting the members caught up on events and spent time with the Thorndale members who stopped up to see us. Thorndale's Squad made the rounds with refreshments and at 21:30 hours the fireworks began, once the show was over the crew made sure the fireworks people were ok and good and then cleared about 22:30 hours. ATV-35 was on hand and was lent to the Thorndale Fire Company to support their event, Wagontown Fire Company would like to thank Thorndale for the invitation over to assist them and taking care of us while there. |
