Tonight members were invited to attend a ceremony to honor the local First Responders in the area. The Howell Lodge 405 F.A. & M Masonic Lodge held a program which started at 19:45 hours.

The event was coordinated and officiated by the Worshipful Master David Stein also Batt. Chief with us who read the origins of where the first responder community began. First was the background of the Fire Service which then led into the EMS History which was then followed by the history of today's modern Police Departments and EMS system.

This was followed by a presentation by Chief Fire Marshal John Weer, who is a fellow mason who presented a small program on the likeness of the two organizations.

The service then concluded with the Fire, EMS and Police gathering in the center of the room where we were presented with a pin commemorating the event.

Following the program we were then invited downstairs for refreshments and fellowship.

Wagontown would like to thank the Howell Lodge 405 F.A. & M Masonic Lodge for inviting us to this ceremony and honoring those who serve the home front every day.
