Today at 09:00 hour’s members gathered at the fire station to meet with Fire Police Captain Touchton to receive their orders to assist with the Kings Highway Elem School Color Run. Fire Police Captain Touchton briefed the fire police and fire units and from there Deputy Chief Reber assigned fire units to their locations.

The Squad, TAC and Brush 1 deployed assisted with traffic control around the 5K color run race course that began and ended at Layton Park.

Crews assisted until the event was over and all of the fire units followed that last racers into the park. Once completed the fire units returned and the fire police cleared soon after.
