Just as Brush 35-2 was returning from Camp Ware, another storm set in bringing a lot of rain and winds. With it brought a number of calls. Brush 2 handled a tree on S. Sandy Hill Rd while returning and the company was dispatched at 17:29 hours for an accident in the 400 block of Old Wilmington Rd.

Onscene crews found a 1 vehicle accident and everyone was out, so crews secured the scene while EMS checked the patients. Then while there we were alerted for a second call.

The second call was on Rt. 82 north of Rt. 340 in West Brandywine for a car overturned this alerted 35 again with Rescue 44 covering Rescue 35 who was at the first accident. The Engine made a response from station followed by the other units from the first accident. Onscene they found everyone out of the car and once again EMS checked the victims and the company stood by with the fire police closing the roadway until the accident was cleared.

The company returned available just prior to 7pm.
