On Saturday members took Brush 35-2 down to Camp Ware in Nottingham to support the annual Chester County Council Special Camporee for scouts. Even with the rain falling and a little chilly the campers braved the weather to enjoy the day.

This is an annual event we assist with every year, the event is held to allow scouts with special needs enjoy different events that allow them to participate in scouting.

This year Brush 2 was used to allow them to use hose lines to extinguish a simulated fire, usually the event is a battle of the ball type event, however due to the rain the event was changed to prevent the scouts from getting soaked due to the weather.

The members enjoy taking time to give back while assisting with this event.

We would like to wish all those who participated in the event the best of luck while furthering their scouting adventure.
