Early this morning the members of Team Scamuffa and Fire Company members began preparing for the 7th annual car show. Each year Team Scamuffa holds a car show to support the ALS Association, this year was no different. Wagontown is proud to be a community partner with the Team Scamuffa in the fight to defeat ALS.

Very early members made the trip to pick up the chicken to cook on our pit for the event; Wagontown has formed a partnership with Team Scamuffa to make sure this event goes off without a hitch. Members of both teams planned today's events, judged show cars and do a Chicken BBQ to raise funds for the event.

By 9:30 am show cars were already filling the back parking lot of the firehouse and the event was beginning to start. By 11 am the back parking lot was full with cars and attendees. This year over 109 plus cars participated in the event.

The fire police were kept busy directing traffic, parking cars and helping people cross Route 340 to the parking area.

As the day went on, various awards were given and everyone in attendance had a really good time. By 4pm the event had came to an end and the clean up began.

Wagontown would like to thank everyone who came out to support this event.

Quote from Team Scamuffa members today

"Thanks to everyone who came out on what turned out to be a beautiful day to support our Annual Car Show/Chicken BBQ ALS Event. It turned out to be a really nice day & we appreciate all of your support in helping with our "Fight to Defeat ALS."
