Today in between calls and units still operating on the Valley Twp. woods fire. A group who worked with Firefighter David Ivey II to line up a tour and fire safety was conducted.

The group arrived at the firehouse at noon and Dave and the crew was there ready to greet them. The events on hand were a presentation on fire safety, a demo of what the gear we wear looks like and an air pack demonstration.

Following the events, the kids were given the chance to try on our gear and see what it feels like to wear our gear. Then the kids toured the fire station and lastly they were treated to a fire truck ride around the block.
