Early this morning at 03:29 hours the company along with Ambulance 144 were dispatched to the 400 block of N Sandy Hill Rd. for a vehicle fire. Deputy 35 (Reber) marked up and was advised by the CCFR that the house was an exposure. Shortly thereafter Ambulance 144 went onscene with a truck well involved near the house.

Deputy 35 arrived and found the siding melting on the house and upgraded the response bringing the full first alarm assignment, which included Engine 76, Ladder 41 and Station 49 and Engine 33-5. Engine 35 arrived and the crew put a good knock on the fire and Sandy Hill Rd Command scaled the assignment to Ladder 41 and Engine 33-5 and recalled the balance as the minor exterior extension was handled.

Crews then continued to wet the scene down while they waited for the Chester County Fire Marshal FM101 (Weer) to arrive and complete the investigation.

Once the investigation was complete, crews overhauled the truck and fire area and cleared just before 6am.
