Finally after 9 plus months the new Tac 35 was delivered by 10-8 EVS of New Holland today. The unit is an F350 with a CET skid mounted pump and tank. The tank area has two enclosed hose beds to carry our suction hose, 3" supply / attack line as well as a pre-connected 1 1/2 handline and a dead load of 1 1/2 hose. Also carried is 1" forestry line in the protected hose beds.

The utility body was designed to carry the extra tools and equipment that was stored protected in the older Dodge brush truck we had. The unit will go in service here shortly after mounting of the tools and equipment and a few minor adjustments.

So Stay tuned for the in-service announcement.

Wagontown was afforded the opportunity to purchase this truck after being awarded the grant from the Federal Emergency Management Agencies AFG Fire Grants. We have been very fortunate with our grant writer John Sly and have been able to upgrade our equipment and vehicles after being awarded several grants.

Wagontown would like to thank the staff at FEMA AFG grants and all those who made this a reality.
