Last night which is usually our training night the members took time to celebrate the Christmas season with our families. All year long the members give their time to training, fund raising and other events which take us away from our families. So we all got together to celebrate and take the night off so families could relax and share a good meal.

The evening began with Batt. Chief Stein giving the blessing for the food and then all enjoyed the food that was brought in for all to enjoy.

Following dinner, Chief Ziegler said a few words and updated the crew on upcoming advancements in technology coming in the New Year from the new CAD to New Radio systems. Then Batt. Chief Stein read a Christmas story that was found in Fire Engineering magazine which got everyone in the holiday spirit. President Reber also thanked the crew for their help this past year.

After that members enjoyed the fellowship and then cleaned up and called it a night.

Wagontown would like to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
