On Saturday members got together and took apparatus over to the Sadsburyville Fire Company for an event they were holding.

The event was that they were having a housing and dedication of Engine 31-1. Engine 31-1 is a 2011 Sutphen Shield engine that was purchased through Arnold Fire Equipment.

Engine 31-1 had never been formally housed, this engine replaced an earlier Hahn engine that was retired and now lives in the Schuylkill Valley Fire Museum in Schuylkill County PA.

Engine 31-1 was dedicated to Engineer Claude "Buzz" Reynolds for his many years of service to the Sadsburyville Fire Company.

Then following this, Sadsburyville members along with neighboring Chief's retired to Volunteers Hall at the Wagontown Fire Company for their banquet.

There the Sadsburyville members once again recognized one of their own for many years of Service including 15 years as Chief. James Supplee was honored as past fire chief and serving more than 60 years of service with the Sadsburyville Fire Co.

The evening was nice and Wagontown would like to wish Sadsburyville Fire Company many more good years of service to the community.
