You may have noticed as you drove by or stopped at the Post Office that there has been some activity at the firehouse lately. During the past couple of weeks we have been working to make sure our investment of the firehouse continues to service us and you as the community. We are sorry for any inconvenience you may have had, but this will allow us to serve you even better in the future.

We were able to do some of these large scale projects with help from local businesses located right here in our own township.

First was Kickin Floors of Wagontown, Mike who owns the business came back and re-did the epoxy type flooring in the high traffic areas. This included a makeover of the Volunteers Hall vestibule which made a nice transition to the new carpet installed some time back.

Next Ken Fowler of East Coast Asphalt Maintenance seal coated the whole property which gave the firehouse parking areas a clean look and provided for better parking management.

Then while this was going on the carpets in the firehouse were also cleaned and various other projects were completed.

Wagontown would like to thank all of our local businesses that assisted us with maintaining our good looks around the station and look forward to working with them again.
