Today at 14:10 hours the company was dispatched to the West Bradford Fire Company Sub-Station 139 due to their company working a woods fire on Young’s Rd. Brush 35-2 made the response and stood by until 15:13 hours.

At 15:13 hours the company was again re-alerted to assist the Modena Fire Company (37) along with additional companies on a shed fire that extended to the woods. Brush 35-2 made the response from West Bradford and Brush 35-1 made the response from the Station.

On arrival Brush 1 made access to the fire from Overlook Rd and then back into the woods from a residence. Once on scene Brush 1 deployed over 600' of 1" hose and 700' of 3/4 attack line as well as the booster line.

Brush 2 arrived and supported the operation to Brush 1 and also filled several of the brush trucks working the scene.

Crews faced erratic fire behavior and rapidly spreading fire conditions uphill from the original shed fire. Crews worked with various other companies and brought the fire under control feet from a house on top of the hill.

Crews then assisted in the mop up and clean up and then were released by command.
