| On Monday the Engine and Command left to go to 10-8 Emergency Vehicles in New Holland. The purpose of the visit was to have the emergency lighting upgraded, removing of the old halogen rotators and strobes that were part of the emergency lighting. This upgrade was made possible by the grant from the Office of the State Fire Commissioner who each year offers a grant program to fire companies and ambulance companies for various projects that would otherwise be put off till funding is available. Nate, Dan and of course Stefan and the rest of the crew at 10-8 did a fantastic job as usual retrofitting the Engine and Command with the latest technology in emergency lighting. This will hopefully complete the fleet for some time to come. We would again like to thank the Office of the State Fire Commissioner for the grant and 10-8 EVS for the awesome work on the equipment. |
