Wagontown units were alerted to Hopewell Road in Warwick Township to assist the Twin Valley Fire Department on a large woods fire. The location of the fire was in the same area as a really large fire back in 2012.

Upon arrival the crews were assigned to different flanks of the fire in which the Brush and ATV were used to control and mop up to secure the perimeter of the fires edge. Crews were assigned to establish hand tool control lines, water supply, and progressive hose lays, Brush trucks were used to transport water back a walking trail to supply the ATVs until a draft site could be established.

Wagontown and surrounding units worked the fire until being relived by a night shift DCNR hand crew that was brought in to assist with mopping up this fire and ensuring it did not extend past the established containment lines

Crews cleared around 11pm after cleaning up.
