On Wednesday evening the company gathered for our practical session on low angle rope rescue with Instructor Jamie Rorher. Instructor Rorher is no stranger at Wagontown and tonight was no different. We traveled to the Water Works Rd Park by the water plant and set up our lowering and hauling systems under the watchful eye of Instructor Rorher. The goal of the night was to get everyone familiar with our rope rescue equipment and the processes needed to successfully rescue someone below grade. The evening session was completed and members returned to the station to secure and clean the equipment used.
