On Friday afternoon at 15:41 the company along with Engine 76 was dispatched to the 300 block of Lafayette Rd in West Brandywine for the reported brush fire. Companies arrived onscene to find a controlled burn that had gotten away from the owner and extended into the brush. Also igniting an old hollowed out tree on an adjacent property. Crews worked for some time extinguishing the fire and falling the dead tree to extinguish the fire. Crews cleared the scene at 19:00 hours and returned to station to clean up.
