On Sunday at 15:11 Hours the Company was dispatched to assist the Coatesville Fire Department on a house fire in the 500 Block of E. Chestnut St. Engine 35 made the response and the crews worked with other mutual aid companies with fire attack and opening up to expose the hidden fire on the 2nd and third floors. Crews were in service for 3 hours working to contain this 2nd Alarm Fire.

Then after clearing the city, Deputy 44 (Scott) added us on their CO Alarm in the 900 Block of W Chestnut St. in Valley. Crews arrived to find an active CO incident with a victim inside, Firefighter Earl Hoisington and Lieutenant Greg Ziegler made entry and removed an unconscious victim from inside the house. Crews then began air monitoring in which levels were over 300 PPM on the 1st floor and over 400 PPM in the basement.

MICU 44 treated the victim who regained consciousness and crews ventilated the residence. After an hour of in-service time the company cleared this call.
