On Thursday at 14:14 Hours the company along with Mutual aid was dispatched to the 2000 block of Telegraph Rd. Onscene companies found a working fire on the first and second floors. Crews from White Horse and Honey Brook arrived 1st due and stretched multiple hose lines into the house. As additional Companies arrived the crews went to work searching and opening up for the handline crews, Ladder 8 arrived and crews opened the roof and exterior of the house.

A second alarm was called as the heat was taking a toll on the firefighters and this provided extra manpower to continue to fight the fire. Rehab units from Brandywine (Tower Health) and Good Fellowship along with Westwood EMS and Elverson Honey Brook EMS kept the crews hydrated and operating in the intense heat of the day.

There were no injuries and no one was home at the time of the fire, crews battled the blaze for more than an hour before bringing it under control and remained onscene assisting the Chester County Fire Marshals until 18:45 Hours.

This was an outstanding effort by all who were on the scene today.
