This morning started off with a vehicle fire in the 1800 Block of East Kings Highway at 11:13 hours this morning. The company along with Engine 76 was dispatched for a vehicle fire with exposures. Engine 76 arrived first and stretched a line making a quick attack on the burning pickup truck while Tanker 35 supplied them with water and all crews assisting in the extinguishment of the truck fire. Crews cleared the scene around 12:30 and began to clean up.

Then at 13:58 hours the company was alerted to the unit block of Graces Drive for a dumpster fire, the Engine and Tanker made the response and arrived to find a 30 yard dumpster involved. Crew from Engine 35 stretched a hand line and went to work on the dumpster while Tanker 35 supplied the engine. Crews worked the fire and cleared an hour later after ensuring the fire was out.

Crews then returned to clean up after this incident and ensured the apparatus was once again ready to respond to any emergency.
