On Wednesday evening the company travelled to the Chester County Public Training Center for some live fire training on the Car Fire and Dumpster props. The evening began with Chief Ziegler and Deputy Reber along with Instructor Cordisco reviewing the techniques for Dumpster and Car Fires. This training was a good refresher for operating at these types of incidents and exposes our members to live fire which is needed to be efficient with the operations of our Self Contained Breathing apparatus and our hose line skills.

Tonight also proved to be a trial run for a new bumper line pack on the engine and rescue, the members decided they wanted something easier to pull and more effective in deployment. The hose was pulled and packed several times and proved to be more efficient than the previous pack.

Crews cleaned up just prior to storms rolling in once again and returned to station to clean up.
