Last night companies that make up the Western Chester County Chief's Association gathered at the Wagontown Fire Company for a training session on arrival assignments. This has been a process the Chief's have been working on for some time now, mostly the monthly meetings have been devoted to working on this process and last night was a trial run under simulated conditions.

Prior to this event each company was doing their own in house training on these guidelines and last night the exercise was designed to let members and companies play out how these would work on an incident scene.

The chiefs have been working to come up with a system that would provide a guideline for arriving units and what the expectations of those companies would be. This has been an outstanding collaboration between all the chiefs in the Western Chiefs area and is working to build our companies working relationships.

The exercise was designed to help those understand where they would arrive in what order and what the expectations would be with the hopes of cutting down on radio transmissions and providing guidance as they arrive on an incident scene.

This program is still a fluid project and we will work to tweak or solidify this program as we use it to handle incidents.

Thank you to all the companies that attended making this a great training program last night.
