On Wednesday morning at 10:53 hours the company along with Ladder 8 (Keystone) were dispatched to the 1000 Block of W Kings Hwy for a chimney fire. Engine 35 arrived with a 2 story residence with smoke showing around the chimney. Ladder 8 took the driveway and extended the main to the roof and crews from 8 and 35 worked to find fire extending around the chimney.

Crews opened up the roof and adjacent areas to extinguish the fire and then worked to overhaul the area to ensure all was extinguished. Belfor was requested to the scene with the impending weather to seal the openings in the roof and areas around the chimney.

All crews cleared the scene about 2 hours later, great teamwork held this fire to the area of origin.
