At 21:21 hours the Wagontown fire company along with MICU 144 were dispatched to reports of a auto accident into a house involving fire in the 400 Block of West Kings Hwy. While units were responding the county upgraded the assignment to a house fire box based on reports. MIC144 arrived to find one vehicle into a porch with fire in the engine compartment of the vehicle with extension to the porch.

Rescue 35 arrived and it's crew placed a handline in service and quickly knocked the bulk of the fire down, Engine and Tanker 35 arrived and provided an additional attack line and water supply. Ladder 41 arrived and gained access to the building to check for extension and Deputy 35 (Reber) arrived and established the 340 command.

Chief 35 (Ziegler) held the Ops and crews worked the incident and arriving companies were placed in manpower pool, once fire was knocked and residence checked the incident was scaled back to the 35 units which completed ventilation and awaited the removal of the truck from the scene.

Units cleared about an hour and a half later. Thank you to our assist companies and Chesco Fire Rescue Photography for their assistance and pictures on the fire grounds.
