On Sunday at 20:05 hours the company was alerted to assist Thorndale on a reported house fire in the 100 Block of School House lane. While enroute Deputy 38 (Taylor) was advised of a working fire and upgraded the assignment bringing the balance of the company.

Deputy 38 established the School House Command and Engine 35 arrived first due and stretched two hand lines into the residence, the engine crew found a fire in the kitchen of the Bi Level house that was extending to the dinning room.

Rescue 38 arrived and stretched an additional line to the interior and crews had a quick knock on the fire and began opening up. Extension was minimal and crews worked to extinguish the remaining hot spots. Crews then stood by awaiting the fire marshal and carried out various other tasks command needed completed.

Good job by all onscene held the fire to the area that was involved and the Company cleared the scene around 22:00 hours after being released by command.
