Yesterday at 16:23 hours the company along with mutual aid was dispatched to the 100 Block of Oak Lane in the Martins Manor section of West Caln Twp. for a reported house fire.

Safety 35 (Batt. Chief Stein) arrived and advised of a deck fire and the homeowner was using the garden hose to hold it in check. Engine 35 arrived and took the driveway and lead off with the bumper line making quick work of the fire remaining.

Engine 33-1 arrived next and supplied Engine 35 with water and the balance was held to what was onscene. Crews worked to overhaul the fire area and then waited for the County Fire Marshal to arrive. Crews then worked with FM Vaughn to determine the cause and origin and once that was completed the overhaul was finished and crews ensured everything was out.

Crews cleared the scene about an hour and a half later.

Thank you to our mutual aid for their assistance during this incident.
