Nice weather brings multiple runs

Sunday proved to be a very busy day for the Wagontown Volunteers, the morning started at 07:45 hours with a dispatched to assist the Coatesville Fire Department at the Ash Park Apartments for a building fire. Shortly after the dispatch the assignment was held to the city units and the Engine went available.

Then at 11:33 hours the Engine was dispatched to relocate to Station 49 while they operated at a house fire in West Whiteland Twp.

Next at 12:14 hours the company was dispatched for the second call to the 1400 Block of Aoirport Rd for Brush where they arrived onscene in the Brush truck to find a large are of brush on fire. Brush, Tac and Tanker handled this incident and cleared about 1/2 hour later.

Engine 35 returned to station and at 15:42 hours the company was dispatched to the 300 Block of Hill Rd for another brush fire, this time the Brush Company arrived to find about an acre of woods and brush on fire. Crews quickly went to work and additional resources from the Honey Brook Fire company was requested to assist. Crews worked this incident for 1 and half prior to releasing units.
