Busy Monday for Wagontown

On Monday the morning began at 07:48 Hours with an accident in the 1100 Block of West Kings Highway. Units responded to find 1 vehicle into a pole with all occupants out. Rescue & Tac 35 stood by until the pole was checked by PECO prior to the car being removed with Fire Police closing Route 340 until the scene could be cleared.

Then at 14:59 Hours the company was alerted to assist the Coatesville Fire Department on a house fire in the 300 Block of Valley Rd. The Engine made the response and crews assisted with Overhaul and other fire ground duties.

Then at 19:52 hours the company responded to the 200 block of S. Sandy Hill Road for a Carbon Monoxide incident in where the EMS checked six residents for exposure and transported 4 from the scene. Fire crews ventilated the house and then assisted with removal of the pets from the residence while continuing to clear the house. About 1 1/2 hours later the company cleared the scene once there were normal readings inside the home.
