Dispatched for a stove fire.

Arrived on location to find the stove fan/vent laying on top of the stove.  Cooking on the stove ignited the fan filter.  Fan Filter was soaked in grease and was in need of replacement before the fire.

Unable to isolate breakers for the stove and fan in the breaker box, so power to the residence was removed.  Found no extension in the walls, but wiring appeared charred and the electrical box was floating in the wall.  Also found newspaper stuffed in the wall behind the drywall that was in contact with the wiring.

Home also did not have heat since sometime Friday. 

FM28 was advised of the conditions inside the residence, and DOH was advised as well.  Residential Aide was advised to have the residence sheltered in a proper facility until the wiring and the heat were inspected and approved by FM28.
